Wow I'm stupid.

Before I left, like the day before I left, I took my Mighty Mouse apart to clean it. While it's apparently possible to do this without destroying it, I didn't know this at the time, and pried off a part that was glued on (and necessary for the cord to not jam the clicker). This drove me nuts enough that I went out and bought some glue and stuck it all back together. Now, though, the glue got on the surface of the mouse and made a little annoying rough spot (got some on my arm and on the monitor frame also; I fucking hate super glue), and while the mouse works fine at this point, it generally looks like I took it apart with a nail file and glued it back together (which, of course, is exactly what I did). I'd like to buy another one and use this one on my laptop or something, but it occurs to me that as long as I'm buying a new mouse, I may as well get one better than this one. Anyone have any suggestions for good mice? I want one with at least five buttons, preferably a scroll ball, not wireless (I don't want to deal with charging it) and, of course, USB.

This is the corded version of my wireless mouse. Buttons galore, all fully programmable to functions or keystrokes, very durable, very reliable.

If anyone reading wants one that's wireless, know that this is pretty low-maintenance. I haven't had to change the rechargable batteries since I recieved it a year and a half ago, and even with fairly heavy usage, I only have to charge it every other night. The doc doubles as the reciever, so it's on my desk anyway and I can just drop it in there.
