Hosed

Printer is hosed.

It won't preheat. The heater works fine, but if you move the print head to a corner then the temperature sensor doesn't work any more, so you can't print anything because the first thing it does is move to a corner and preheat. And it can't preheat without a temperature sensor.

So, I've emailed them, we'll see what happens next. New temperature sensors don't cost much but I think the problem is probably the wire connecting it to the board, since the sensor works unless you're in a corner.

I know this is a bad time to ask, what with the printer being hosed and all, but you mentioned that you (or Tina?) was working on making cookie cutters. I have discovered that I have a desperate need to have a meeple cookie cutter.

Tina was making them but I can probably do one too. After a little more debugging it's definitely the thermocouple, so I ordered a couple more of those last night and they're supposed to be here Thursday. I should be able to print things again this weekend (depending on when I find time to actually put it back together, it's pretty apart right now). I'll email you later for sizes and stuff.

She gave me the Tinkercad link to hers, so I know wall thicknesses and heights and stuff now. If you can draw a meeple in Inkscape at the right size, I can turn it into a cookie-cutter-ish model. :)
