More Treasure
Oct. 21st, 2005 11:09 pmThis is much better now. Tiny bug that caused the Friday Algorithm to return the same general pattern way too often (not a crash bug, but a missing break statement in a case that made it recurse too predictably). This is after the Thursday Algorithm had some unsolvable cases (which are inevitable, but this encounters the problem much less often). The thing is now crash-proof and acceptably unpredictable. I must stop playing with it and continue to write other parts of my game.
Some people have been asking for this, which Janna found. I have not the words.
Shawn and Janna had a sort of party thing tonight to drink their wine. I managed to get through two glasses, which is a good amount for me. I left fairly early as I am not in that social of a mood, and people didn't seem to be wanting to be social with me much. Ah well, tomorrow is a game day, that's a context I can be social in easily.
I find that I have a finite number of modes that I fall into. I can be in a programming mode, or a math mode, or a gaming mode, or a hardware mode, or even a squishy emotional mode. Lately I've been in a programming mode because I'm in phase two of this game. I'm probably a better person at parties when in a gaming or squishy-emotional mode, although I'm not very comfortable in a crowd ever.
