I'm in a fairly bad mood. I'm tired, broke, getting consistently bad grades on assignments, guilty and depressed over something I'm not going to talk about now, and on Friday I lose my job.
So if I snap at you, it's nothing personal.

Sounds good, but it depends on when. I have a test I need to bomb Tuesday night, should take a couple hours between 5:30 and 9:00.

oh, crap. Hmmm... Anna goes to bed at 9. Maybe we can make you dinner some other nite. What night is best (night being 6 - 7 PM). Of course we could do 8pm tomorrow.

The test can take any two-hour-or-so block between 5:30 and 9:00 I want, so I can take the test, get done around 7:30-8, and then go to dinner.
She's having the tests in this choose-your-own-time format because she's away on travel a lot, and so doesn' thave time to schedule them in class.
