Odd Dream

I remember my dreams a lot better if I don't get woken up by an alarm clock. This dream was odd because it had a sort of plot, and then I woke up right as it ended. It was almost like a movie, or a fairy tale.

The Dream:
There was this, concubine, sort of, although I think her job was mainly to sit at the bad guy's swimming pool and look pretty. I fell in love with her, I forget how, but I had to fight the evil king/baron/sorcerer for her. There was definitely magic involved in the fight, and he had the requisite beard and mustache, and also a sort of scarlet turban with a big ruby in it. The whole dream was in an Arabian motif, although I'm not sure how the swimming pools fit into that.
After I fought him, he wasn't dead, so I ran back and grabbed the girl (who had no name) and he chased us for what seemed like a long time. Finally we lost him, and found ourselves in a sort of candy store. She had never been in a candy store before, much less a shopping mall, which is what the candy store was part of. I was explaining to her how things like a cash register and my credit card worked, and why they were part of part of getting us candy. Then, we both left the store, and literally walked off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Except that the sunset was an escalator that would take us out of the mall.
I thought, "Wow, that was an oddly well-formed dream, with a cliché ending and everything. Normally I get woken up halfway through the dream when I'm being chased, and I'm irritable all morning because of it. Wonder why I never woke up this time?". I woke up at that point, rolled over, wondered why my alarm clock had no numbers on it, and realized that the house had no power. I proceeded to be irritable all morning.

The Interpretation:
I really don't know where to start here. The swimming pools are probably important since they appeared a lot, and the girl having no name, face, or anything (although she did have very distinct long blond hair) means she's probably not that important except as a symbol. All I can say for certain is that the candy store right before I woke up means I probably want some candy, since I haven't had any in a couple weeks.
Normally my dreams aren't clichéd fantasy movies, which is why this one is remarkable.
