Though I will have to say, geeks shound *never* write music and attempt to sing it themselves. At least find someone with a modicum of vocal talent for a huge gathering like Comic-Con.
I bought it. I buy a lot of stuff too; I mostly download things for one of four reasons:
1. Prohibitively expensive (Stargate, Buffy. $20-$30/season times 7/10 seasons...) 2. Still being broadcast (Stargate, Torchwood) 3. Not even sure I want to watch it (Elizabeth, Cube) 4. Impossible to find anywhere (TV Nation, anything fairly old).
Something that I want to encourage the making more of, like Firefly, or Stargate movies, or Futurama, I buy. Ditto most music, now that I can get it from Amie Street. I actually haven't bought Serenity, but I haven't downloaded it either. I just have only seen it once.
