I had an idea that I should make a box.
The first box-related experiments worked reasonably well. The difficult part of a box is the hinge, and for that I was going to print tubes that I could fit a piece of filament through. I made this yesterday, which seems to be a perfectly good hinge except that it broke almost as soon as I stuck the filament in it. Thicker walls on the tube are required.
So, I tried again last night, made a couple tubes with 2.5mm holes inside 8mm diameter tubes, and they seem very strong if a little loose. I bet that 2mm holes will work perfectly.
My plan is to make a box with one part of the top held on with a hinge and the other end held on with something that looks like a hinge, but you can pull the pin out to open the box.
Edit: Here's my box design. I'll see how well it prints tonight.
