My tea shipped!
Jul. 16th, 2009 01:37 pmI've started making iced tea a lot, since I have an iced tea maker now. So, I ran out of Keemun Imperial (a decent Keemun form Teavana, not noticeably different form Keemun Hao-Ya A from Dragonwater). Since there's no Teavana in Austin, I went online to order more, expecting Dragonwater to be vastly more expensive than Teavana.
Teavana wanted $4/oz, minimum order 2 oz. And their web store didn't work. Dragonwater wanted $20 for a half pound, which is a little cheaper.
Except that they didn't. I apparently read it wrong, because they just shipped me a pound for $20. Sixteen ounces, a little under a third the price of Teavana for a better tea.
