Week before last, I was in Houston all week for work, which sort of sucked. Bad hotel room, mostly.

Last weekend, we went to the Texas Renaissance Festival. It was opening weekend, and Oktoberfest. Had a pretty good time. The whole old D&D group from Houston came, and Kevin (a guy I've known since I was nine), and we ate food and looked at people in costumes (three separate and distinct chain mail bikinis), and watched a Shakespearean troupe that was not quite as good as Shakespeare's Skum, but still pretty enjoyable.

This weekend, Cassie and I went to Maker Faire.
