Shadow's useless coin trick

I just spent about an hour, and indirectly spent several hours of studying, making a circuit with a transistor and two batteries that lights up two LEDs.

This is stupid because lighting up two LEDs is a thing that can be done with no transistor, one battery, and no studying, in a couple minutes.

I think I finally understand how a transistor is used, though.
