Mostly for Jay

Yellownote was down all last night and today. The server I'm hosted on at Dreamhost blew up, and all the files were lost, possibly forever.

Don't panic.

I had an up-to-date working copy on this laptop, which is now installed on there. The database itself is hosted on a different Dreamhost machine, so all the data is fine.

Next feature to be added, probably this week/end: export your notes to YAML!

Good to know.

And yay on new features.

Wow, that is some high-end hosting right there. I provide better service than that (well except for, you know, getting ruby to actually work right) for free.

I actually have a new backup scheme (RAID mirroring over iSCSI) in place where if the building burns down I will have the bits up to date until the very last minute when the network drops, and I can just blow the bits onto a new system and pick back up.
