Woot today was a Thinkpad T60 for $220, $243 shipped. I bought one!

Every time someone starts a thread on HN or Reddit about the best-ever coding laptop, it goes into two camps: one side saying MBP, the other saying T60. Now I kinda have both...

Well, my MBP is work's. But my MBA is mine.

It was so strange, I never even check it but I got an email yesterday from Amazon saying "since you've shopped for laptops recently (I hadn't; more like gawked at this) you should look at woot today". I didn't even know Amazon owned woot.

The thing about Amazon is, yes they unapologetically send me ads every couple days, but their prediction algorithm is so good that more often than not the ads are for things I really want to buy, so I actually read every one.
